Rebecca Suttles

Director of Scholarships

Rebecca Suttles joined the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga in 2001. As the Director of Scholarships, Rebecca provides guidance for donors interested in establishing scholarships funds, and provides counseling, support and guidance for students and their families as they complete the college application, scholarship application, and financial aid processes.

Rebecca brings more than 15 years of experience building partnerships within the Chattanooga community and a passion for furthering the Foundation’s commitment to educating, coaching, encouraging, and inspiring students to achieve their dreams.

Beyond her work at CFGC, Rebecca supports and promotes Bridge Scholars of Chattanooga, a non-profit formed to develop and implement academic programs to prepare underrepresented students for success.  She also co-founded the Sankofa Fund for Civic Engagement, an African-American giving circle launched in 2015.

Rebecca graduated from Lynchburg College with a BA in Sociology. She resides in Chattanooga with her husband, Chad, and three step-children.
